Start with the work and the level of support you need. Agree the people, responsibilities and costs before the engagement begins.

Ways to work together

Choose the shape of your engagement.

Staff augmentation: a Dedicated Specialist or an Embedded Team working within your organisation. Project Delivery: Divaaco takes responsibility for an agreed project or defined technical workstream.

What could you save with Divaaco?

Compare your UK hiring costs with Divaaco.

How the comparison works

Onshore first-year cost: annual salary + selected employer NI and pension + one recruitment cost + (other monthly costs × 12), multiplied by your team size.

Divaaco first-year cost: hourly rate × monthly hours, plus additional monthly costs, multiplied by 12 and your team size.

Potential saving: onshore cost − Divaaco cost. The percentage uses onshore cost as the baseline. If Divaaco costs more with your inputs, we show the extra cost.

UK defaults, 2026/27: employer NI is 15% above £5,000; employer pension is 3% of earnings between £6,240 and £50,270. This assumes a standard-category employee enrolled in a qualifying-earnings pension scheme, before Employment Allowance or other reliefs. Annual thresholds provide a planning estimate; actual payroll can differ. HMRC rates · Pension contribution rules.

Recruitment: £2,000 per hire is the general employee median in the CIPD 2026 survey, not a technology-specific fee. It is editable and counted once in year one. Monthly figures average the first-year total; later years exclude this recruitment cost unless another hire is needed.

Salary and hours are editable examples. Use your quoted Divaaco rate and comparable roles and working patterns. Add benefits, equipment, software and any separate Divaaco charges. Avoid counting NI, pension or recruitment twice. Include retained hiring or setup costs on the Divaaco side, spread over 12 months. Figures are rounded to the nearest penny.

Frequently Asked Questions

What shapes the rate?

Role, seniority, working pattern, expected duration and the level of responsibility influence the quote. Share the work and team setup so the proposal can address your requirement.

What should the quote include?

The professional or team, fee basis, working pattern, included engagement support, duration, notice terms and items priced separately should be clear before you begin.

Who manages the work?

For dedicated specialists and embedded teams, your nominated lead directs day-to-day work. In a project engagement, Divaaco takes responsibility for delivering the agreed scope, with deliverables and acceptance arrangements established for the engagement.

Who owns the code and intellectual property?

Intellectual property developed specifically for you as part of the engagement belongs to you under the agreed contractual terms. Pre-existing and third-party intellectual property is not automatically transferred.

How are confidentiality and data security handled?

Divaaco can establish appropriate confidentiality arrangements, including an NDA, before an engagement begins.

How does free resource replacement work?

If a resource is not meeting agreed performance expectations, Divaaco will work with you to identify and arrange a suitable replacement without an additional recruitment or replacement fee, subject to the engagement terms.

What are the notice and cancellation terms?

Notice and cancellation terms are set out in your engagement agreement. Review the notice period, handover responsibilities and any applicable charges before starting.

Are payroll, equipment and administration included?

The quote and agreement should identify which responsibilities sit with Divaaco, which remain with your organisation and which items are charged separately.
